General Info
This guava species is native to Brazil and Argentina and thrives in the lush Atlantic Forest, but is adaptable to. It is characterized by its twisted trunk and compact, rounded canopy. This species was previously mislabeled as psidium eugeniafolia.
Size
Normally 9’-12’, but can eventually grow to 20’+
Growing Conditions
Grows in full sun and is cold tolerant.
Taste
The flavor is supposedly sweet and tart, with a blend of tropical fruits. Those who taste it report that they enjoy it.
