Founder Story

Real Sweet Farms LLC was founded in 2020 by Kevin Williams in Tampa, Florida. Kevin has always had a passion for growing food and tropical plants, starting with a small plot in the backyard and eventually taking over the entire yard with tropical fruit trees, shrubs, and perennial edibles. In 2016 land was obtained in Alva, Florida, where even more tropical fruit trees and perennials were established. With such a love for growing, Kevin wondered how he could share his passion with others, so he created Real Sweet Farms LLC.

The Real Sweet Farms Goal

Real Sweet Farms is committed to providing quality services for those interested in growing their own food. Real Sweet Farms, aims to become an industry leader in the #growyourown movement and a well-known name in regenerative, tropical agriculture. Real Sweet Farms is more than just a farm or a nursery, it is a one stop shop for everything you need for growing your own food, farming, and learning how one may incorporate these things into their daily life. In order to achieve this, a multi-year plan is currently in the works:

Nursery

First, a nursery will be established, in which all plants will be grown by Real Sweet Farms. The plants from the nursery will help establish farms and be used for landscape designs

Farms

With plants from the nursery, a main farm will be established. Currently, Real Sweet Farms is renting land in Alva, FL, where we grow a variety of trees as source trees for the nursery. Additionally, the land will be used to conduct breeding programs for trees like mango, custard apple, atemoya, jackfruit, jaboticaba and more in hopes of finding superior fruit tree varieties.

Edible Landscape Design

After the nursery and farm are both established, Real Sweet Farms can focus more on edible landscape design, having gained years of valuable growing experience in the meantime
