'Sabara' Jaboticaba (plinia jaboticaba)
‘Sabara’ Jaboticaba (plinia jaboticaba)
These plants are grown in 5” deep cells and shipped with fully developed roots with their original soil carefully wrapped. Be ready to put into a pot! The seedlings are about 1 year old and due to the polyembryonic nature of jaboticaba seeds, most cells contain more than 1 seedling! These can be carefully pulled apart when transplanting to create more plants, or left as is. Only 5 available as these get used up as rootstocks here at Real Sweet Farms (grafted plinias coming soon!)
Note: only grafted trees make fruits that are exactly the same as their parent trees. Seedling trees may show traits which are different from the parent trees to varying degrees.
