General Info
This guava species is native to much of South America. It has narrow, ornamental leaves and is sometimes called narrow leaf guava. The growth is compact.
Size
Normally under 10-ft, but can grow to 20-ft in time.

Considered by some as one of the more delicious guava species, its small seeds make for a nice eating experience compared to common guava.
Years to Fruit
This species should fruit relatively quickly, with some reports of flowers on 1 year old seedlings and fruits on 3 year old seedlings.
