General Info
Katuk is shrub native to southeast Asia where it is commonly cultivated. It produces nice, speckled foliage, beautiful red flowers which appear underneath branches, and sometimes will make very nice looking white fruits.
Growing Conditions
Katuk grows quite easily and remain relatively disease and pest free. These appreciate full/partial sun, but can grow in shady spots as well. It is encouraged to prune these back readily or they will grow tall and branches can fall over and snap.
Taste

Cold Tolerance
Katuk is somewhat cold sensitive but we have had no problems growing it year after year here in Tampa, FL. Growth slows in the colder months and resumes in spring.
